Lawrencia Anafo Ayine

Lawrencia Anafo Ayine is a former student of Nyariga Doone Girls Junior High School at Nyariga a community famed for straw basket weaving.

“I am 19 years and a just completed the Bolgatanga Senior High School. I am a beneficiary of the Help Foundation Scholarship Scheme. The scholarship has enabled me to pursue my senior high school education. This is because I lost my dad and I am being catered for by my mum who works as a ‘kayayo’ (porter) in Kumasi. Though I gained admission to the Bolgatanga Senior High Secondary School, my mum could not buy my school items. Thankfully, I was selected as a recipient of the scholarship which enabled me buy a travelling bag, provisions, school bag and mattress among others. This also made it possible for me to report at school on time.

I am so grateful for this kind gesture which has made it easy for me to pursue my education. May the Lord replenish all the investment on me and also bless the foundation to enable them support other needy students”.
